Yan Oi Footbridge demolition works across Tuen Mun highway 6 traffic lanes. The wire cutting machine is fully utilized in this project. Public safety is a top priority. We cut the main deck of the footbridge and remain part of the top bars until the bridge is totally lay down on ground floor (after cutting off by the acetylene). The footbridge is lifted by a 350TON crane during night time and transport to other area for breaking and disposal. This project fully shows our teamwork spirit with different parties such as traffic division of Tuen Mun highway, professionals and contractors. Techniques we used such as: coring, blade saw cut, wire cut, robot breaking and hydraulic bursting method.
